What is the 6th Region

Within the African Union, Africa was organized into 5 economic regions – North Africa, West Africa, Central Africa, East Africa, Southern Africa. After the awareness of our connection, our contributions, and dedication to be a part of – it was proposed, accepted, and implemented – to create the “Sixth Region“. This constitutes the African Diaspora, People of African Descent – Historic and Contemporary, that vows to be a part of Africa’s future.
